The new version of
STEAL AWAY available
from to-day.
I’m delighted to pass the news that as of to-day, 31st August, our newest project is available to download on Spotify and the other digital platforms. This recording was something very special, with the Irish National Ukrainian choir.
We launched it last week in Dublin to a full house in the Pepper Canister Church, who gave a tumultuous standing five minute ovation. Even the Ukrainian Ambassador was moved to tears.
Below is the video we shot at the recording which has already picked up more than 100,000 views over on my Facebook page.
This has been one of the most rewarding projects I’ve ever undertaken. It’s been about reaching out to our Ukrainian communities in a spirit of warmth, welcome and solidarity. This has been about much more than just a song.
Tranquility cruise UPDATE
“We hope you are all having an enjoyable Summer, even with the extremes of weather, floods in some parts, forest fires in others. A crazy world, as the song says.
We have an important announcement to make…some not-so-good news and some unbelievably exciting news.
Because of a perfect storm, a combination of circumstances including contractual commitments and changing tour schedules, we have no option but to postpone our 2024 cruise. This hurts like hell and we’ve never had to do it before. You know how much we value your loyalty and your support over all the years and we hate to disappoint you, our true believers. Sadly there is no alternative.
To balance that, we have worked really hard and bent over backwards to make sure that the 2025 Tranquility Cruise is going to be the most exciting ever, a Blockbuster that takes us to a whole new level. After burning a lot of midnight oil and wheeling and dealing we have pulled off a major coup.
Top of the bill, headlining in 2025 will be …………….

THE HIGH KINGS!

There is no bigger act in Irish music right now and their fame is growing internationally. With sold out tours in Ireland, the U.K., Europe, Australia and the US they have become the hottest ticket in town. I have worked with the lads over the years and have the highest regard for them as entertainers and as people.
It gives me great pleasure to know that two of my songs feature strongly in their repertoire and that their version of THE TOWN I LOVED SO WELL, so adored by their fans, is for me the best since Luke Kelly. They are a perfect fit for us and I know our cruisers will be blown away. We have always prided ourselves in bringing to the cruise the best in Irish music and we’ve had some legends over the years. This time I truly believe we have surpassed ourselves and I could not be more proud to welcome the lads onboard.

I am truly gutted to disappoint our family of cruisers. My dearest wish now is that we all meet again for this Spectacular Reunion Cruise in 2025.
